E-Commerce / Senior EDI Analyst Job Description
Enable Corporation, an industry leader in E-Commerce products and services is looking for a Senior EDI Analyst to join our dynamic, growing organization in our New York City (Soho) Headquarters. Duties and Responsibilities · Lead the effort in implementing EDI relationships between our customers and their trading partners. Requirements include performing a gap analysis of the customer's ERP system interface against EDI specifications, initial set up, coordination with the trading relationship, testing and troubleshooting issues · Support overall company-wide EDI initiatives during upgrades and migrations with testing & development tasks · Daily management and troubleshooting of all EDI transactions. Perform error resolution and maintain required documentation · Establish strong working relationships with our customers business and technical managers, analysts and end users · Provide subject matter expertise to our staff and customers. Participate in business improvement initiatives, and client implementations · Test maps and communications to ensure Trading Partner Compliance has been met. Responsibilities also require post certification tasks such as moving transactions to production. Requirements · Minimum 5 years hands on experience with EDI · Must understand the full life cycle of implementing a New Trading Partner or EDI transaction · Must be able to interpret an EDI Trading Partner transaction specifications · Must be able to set and meet realistic priorities in a rapidly changing environment · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills · Experience testing EDI transactions directly with a Trading Partner, Customer or a 3rd Party testing service · Strong Knowledge of EDI communications protocols (ex. VAN, FTP, AS2) · Demonstrated knowledge of EDI standards and best practices · Strong written and oral communication skills as well as developed organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail · Knowledge of EDI mapping tools such as Gentran or ECMAP is a plus If you are the candidate we are looking for, we encourage you to submit for consideration, your resume with salary history and cover letter to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Only full time positions will be offered, no consultants or recruiters please.
