Good Afternoon- Due to steady growth DCS seeks an EDI Specialist with experience in both Inovis Trusted Link for the IBM iSeries and JDEdwards WorldSoftware. Two years full-time experience as a map writer, trading partner, and data transmission set-up and maintenance are required.
Knowledge of BizManager 400TM or other EDI INT AS2, OUTbound Shipment Notice (ASN, 856) with multiple hierarchies, 1SYNC (UCCnet) experience system is a plus. As is experience with most retail and supply-chain related EDI transactions. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Charleston, WV. Notes 1. While programming will not be a primary focus of this position, ability to analyze code and communicate with business users is important. May answer technical questions for management and upper management regarding trading partner issues. Serves as a technical resource to I.T. management, researching issues and coaching on appropriate resolution methods. 2. You will be compensated for over-time, nights, weekends, and holidays. (DCS rarely requires extra time.) 3. Education: Two years of college completed and a certificate in at least one programming language. 4. Travel Requirement: Approximately 15%, one week bi- monthly. 5. Sub-contracting: A sub-contracting relationship instead of an employment relationship with DCS will also be considered. 6.
