We sell systems to small companies, so the numbers are from our customers...

Our clients range from about 1 transmission per week (not including 997s), to 5-
50 large transmissions (810 & 856) per day.

1. 52 to 10,000 per year.
2. 1 hour to 20 hours
3. They are all increasing, except for clients that stop selling to certain 
partners...

I don't think that there is an average, since different requirements result in 
different solutions.  In some cases, JCP sends 1 PO per store.  This can be a 
huge volume of orders, resulting in a large volume of 810s and 856s.
