Actually, ma'am, they are all like me.. at least when you get to the person 
making the actual hiring decisions.

Unfortunately, they are often "protected" by gatekeepers in the "human 
resources" department, who themselves forget that what their client (the 
hiring executive) has given them is HIS/HER wishlist.

While the idea of a seperate consultant to help define personnel needs 
accurately is "not so bad,"  seems to me that either a "human resource 
person" OR a "recruiting foirm"  has a responsibility to the hiring 
executive to deal with his/her "Wish List v Real World" situation.

Were I back in that hiring executive position and my HR person or my outside 
recruiter just took my wish list as some kind of absolute, no deviation 
list, the next requirement they'd see from me is my wish list for THEIR 
replacement!
