In this particular instance, you're correct. However, our system matches on PO# and PO type in order for us to be able to handle changes to blanket orders and release orders that have the same PO # as an example. In this particular scenario, the PO types (NE and SA) don't match causing our system to ignore the 860. Herein lies the problem and the reason for my original question. Is it an EDI standard practice for the BCH02 element in the 860 to match the BEG02 element in the corresponding 850 document?
