Do you have the CICS client or the TSO client? We have the CICS client. Our Sarbanes-Oxley auditors had the same issue. We identified the fact that we needed mainframe access as a compensating control, and since we use ACF2 (with its formatitng rules, password changing, etc.) they agreed that it was a satisfactory control.
