I know you are looking for answers, not more questions, but why would you spend the money on GIS and then throw it away?
Travis- -----Original Message----- From: kakcrawford [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, December 11, 2006 5:46 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [EDI-L] EDI Outsourcing I work for a small-to-medium sized food manufacturer looking at outsourcing its EDI as a cost savings measure. I currently develop and maintain the EDI setup (GIS on iSeries) in-house; conversion to GIS was completed this year. I have approximately 50 trading partners, who dictate the inbound/outbound document formats they send/receive. I would appreciate suggestions for doing a quick study to determine whether this is a feasible option for my company. I am looking for outsourcing options, outsourcing companies, cost ranges, lessons learned (what to look out for), etc. Thanks, Karla ...
