Happy New Year everyone. I'm trying to get a perspective on the various
methodologies and specifications commonly used across many industry sectors
for the transport, packaging, security, routing, etc. of EDI messages. The
EDI messages here could be either X12, UN/EDIFACT, or various flavors of
XML-based documents.

For example, how widespread is the usage of the RosettaNet RNIF? EDIINT
AS1/AS2/AS3? ebXML ebMS, the eb Registgry? Other approaches?

Thanks in advance for those who wish to share their perspective and
experience.
