>From my experience, Sterling Gentran isn't best friends with TAXCON. I had
to do this with Gentran:Server (5.x) under Unix back in the day, and the
TAXCON that was produced IIRC was either so malformed that there was no way
my UK partner would accept it, or it wasn't in the same envelope, or
something similar. I can't remember, it was so long ago I was blessed with
this issue.

I know we ended up writing an awk script to take the interchange and more or
less take it apart and put it back together again the way the TP wanted.
Sterling tech support was useless to us; you couldn't get them to admit that
anything at all was wrong with their implementation of TAXCON and there was
about one line discussing it in the manual.

Good luck.

Subject: [EDI-L] House of Fraser Help

Does anyone have an EDI contact for House of Fraser in the UK.

I am trying to work through a problem with their INVOIC message.
Apparently they need to have the INVOIC and TAXCON messages
transmitted in the same Edifact UNB envelope.

Understanding that this is totally legal in the EDI world, however
Gentran on the AS/400 doesn't seem to be able to accomodate this
requirement...unless one of you out there has run into this and might
be able to point me in the right direction?

Cheers
Kevin
