Tor - While data element 355 is in the S5 segment, it is tied in a conditional relationship with data element 382, so it can not be used for miles.
Alan - Can you be more specific? Do you want to tell the carrier how many miles from the shipper to consignee? How many miles from the carrier's terminal to your location?
