Dear Group:
I need to send a 50-character Port of Origin name and its corresponding 5-digit
port code on our direct import 850s. Are there header-level segments /
elements where this information typically appears? I'm a retailer, if that
makes any difference.
I'm looking at the TD5, although that doesn't look like a complete fit to me.
I'm also considering the REF segment, but I don't see a REF01 / DE128 code
(yet) that specifies Port of Origin / Ship-from Port. It's a really long list
of codes to go through so I'm still looking...but I'm thinking surely if there
is a code for "Drainhole Number" ('DRN'), there MUST be one for Port of Origin!
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Jayne
