Hello friends,

I had a situation occur yesterday that has caused a problem with my
application. I am taking advantage of the File Server Mailbox to collect
and extract a file, to move it from one directory to another directory.
Before, I would have two mailboxes, one to collect and one to extract. As
you know, the collection mailbox shows the files in the outbox. The
extraction mailbox shows the files in the inbox. Now, here is the
problem. When an extraction mailbox has a problem getting to the
directory, it places an error message in the outbox. With this mailbox
being both a collection and an extraction mailbox, the error message
placed in the outbox, got sent to the inbox and then, when the directory
became available, the error message was sent as the application file. I'm
working with the system administrators of the server I was trying to write
the file to, but meanwhile, no matter what the reason was that is was
unavailable for a minute, I know I don't want the error message to be
sent.

Hopefully, someone was able to follow that logic. Is there a way to get
around this problem without having to separate the mailboxes in two?

I have opened a case with Sterling. No word yet.

Thanks,
Cindy
