i don't know what that particular software does, but if it's just a matter 
of reformatting entire ANSI ASC X12 EDI files  **AND** you can execute the 
program on a Windows machine, the free reformatter I have made available on 
my Website might be a solution.

This reformat software include unixs line termination as a standard option, 
and it IS a 'command line'  tool absolutely suitable for use in an 
unattended mode.
