Are you running Gentran NT, UNIX, or what?
As others have pointed out, my experience from working with Gentran NT
(or whatever Sterling calls it now) and GIS is that the only thing they
have in common is the mapper. If all you need is an EDI system, I would
not recommend GIS to anyone. For just EDI it is over-engineered, harder
to use, and sometimes buggy. OTOH, it is a very powerful and capable
product if you have needs that go beyond just EDI.
