I use Element 212 constantly, since it is part of the 810 (Invoice) in IT1_04. Our translator doesn't even define Element 212 as type R, but since the field is always populated from the Unit Price, it carries the same format as the database. ie. a price of $15 would get automatically formatted as 15.00 You may be right technically, but the 'ultra large retailer' is probably focused on what the element is used for... Prices are usually formatted as 15.00. Your translator would probably convert $15.10 to 15.1 which would also give them a problem... Can you add an optional formatting mask to the field?
