I use IDEA, the electrical supply distributor association's
IDX2. The fees are for initiation, then a flat and low per
Kilocharacter count. IDEA does have services you are looking for, and
there was a company not in electrical supplies that was in the same
situation with their 800 Lb customer. IDEA provided the services they
needed quickly and with few problems.

My company has a small division not yet integrated with our systems
and they want to sell to a big retailer who requires EDI. It will be
a year before they are integrated and I can help them. In the mean
time I am researching desktop or web based EDI solutions, ideally the
software as a service model where they enter their invoices and ASN's
on a website and it goes to the big retailer.
Does anyone have any recommendations or experience that they would
like to share? I sent an email to my favorite ICC sales guy about the
PassPay EDI solution but I am looking for a couple others if they
exist also. This business needs inbound 850's, outbound 810's and
856's.
