I'm not sure if it's related but our bank generates PNI notification
(Paid Not Issued Notifications) in relation to our Positive Pay
initiative. This is where we send electronic notification of all issued
checks (cheques) to our bank and if the cleared checks do not match they
are flagged as PNI.
