Deepika,

This is a two-step process. Depending on the capabilities of your
translator, you may be able to accomplish it with one map. My expertise is
in Softshare Delta mapping, and with Delta it is quite easy though not
straightforward. The trick is to build a database outside or array within
the map. Store the ship-to identifiers, items, prices, quantities, etc. by
ship-to id. Once you have collected all the information, go back and
retrieve the information by location, produce the interface file containing
a PO for each location.

You have not told us what application you are interfacing with. Depending
on your answer, you may have to get creative so that the application
properly handles the duplicate PO number for the same customer, same date.

Good luck,

this has been previously discussed, you can find the discussion in the
archives.

My iWay translator supports this natively by exploding the orders. Your
Gentran NT product
cannot. You need to change translators or write code. If you want to
tell me your client contact,
I will solve his problem.
