Thanks, Matt. The different number of digits in the PO would have "worked", but all of our pos are 11 digits. We don't actually get direct store orders - we ship to dc, but they send us a huge pile of orders by store. The REF01 PS qualifier is present, and yes, true we can differentiate in the EDI system using that - but I still don't have a good idea of how to keep that seperation intact as the orders move into the ERP. It's the same customer to our system, and it handles them the way it's configured to handle them. Whatever we do, it's going to probably be an ugly hack. Travis-

When REF01 contains code DP Direct to store orders will contain 999 in REF02 in the header level and the actual merchandise department will be specified in the item-level REF segment. DC or JIT orders will specify the actual merchandise department number in the header REF segment in REF02. 2. When REF01 contains code PS, REF02 contains the following characters. A = Accelerated flow R = Regular J1 = Just in Time Inventory (JIT) Hopefully that helps. We weren't able to tell electronically which one was which. So we would have to run the orders through manually after eyeballing the order as to which type it was. Not fun. But thought it would be temporary. 1 year and running. Kmart orders by DC, with one UCC-128 per pallet, and Sears orders by store, consolidated to DC with mark-for store numbers on the UCC-128s on each case. Now that they send their orders in from the same ISA & GS ID, we can't tell the orders apart. We were hoping when they changed to the Kmart system, the order format and shipping would change as well. Anyone else dealing with this? Thanks, Travis- *** Email Confidentiality Notice *** This message is private and confidential.
