Ron,

What you can do is set up a separate 997 map for this customer. TLE
already has a map embedded within for 997's. Import it into your mapping
workbench, then save it as your new map. Then, eliminate the write
commands for any unwanted segments. Save it, export it, upload it to the
op center, then alias the event to it.

Subject
[EDI-L] Inovis Trusted Link/TLE (Unix): how to send 997 w/o an AK2 segment

I have a customer who does not like the 997s I send them.

My Inovis Trusted Link/TLE Enterprise (for Unix, version 6.1) is
creating 997 where each Transaction Set (ST) gets an AK2 (and AK5).

They want a "short" 997 just with an AK9 (summary for the sets being
processed).

How do setup TLE to do this "short" 997.

I am trying to get an answer as soon as possible so post this message
even before I call Inovis and wait for an answer from them.
