Ron You should NOT have to change your sender receiver ID's when making a switch from one van to another. The VAN you are moving to should and usually does contact the other VANs sending them a migration letter stating the ID's that are moving and the date/time of that move.
Also your statement that the same ID can not exist with multiple VANs at the same time is incorrect. That is a limitation on only those VANs that route based solely on receiver ID. Kleinschmidt (and others) route on more then just receiver ID, so we can point data to as many VANs and direct connections as you like within reason.
