In theory anything from 3.0 should upgrade directly, for anyone running 2.11 or
previous you would have to upgrade to 3.0 then to 5.x. The honest answer is
that 5.2 has only been out a few weeks now so the verdict is still out;
however, that being said I can vouch for the upgrade from 5.0, sessions,
partners, maps and mailboxes all imported cleanly.

I've researched this information on the Sterling site and on the yahoo lists as
well as Googled it. I have one question, can i export a trading partner from
Gentran:Server for Windows version 3.1 and successfully import it into version
5.2?

Thanks,

Dave Records
