This cannot be done.
If you want to exchange electronic documents with TP1, either you maintain
some kind of service with some entity (defacto a VAN) or you make
arrangements with TP1 to utilize some other means of communications for that
exchange.
If TP1 insists on sending and receiving documents via GXS, then you have a
business decision to make: arrange for a VAN account, or forego electronic
document exchange; it's your call.
