I'll be doing very similiar work oddly enough in an organization that falls under the same VP that wanted to take away my headcount. I was told by my manager that a few folks in the company went to bat for me. I remain employed and able to pay the mortgage on my 1st house that I moved into 5 months ago. ____________ _________ _________ __ From: Steville Mims <[EMAIL PROTECTED] com> To: K Heart <[EMAIL PROTECTED] com> Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 9:27:36 PM Subject: Re: [EDI-L] Job Hunting - MD/DC Metro I feel your pain and frustration. the same thing happened to me in June of this year. I hope you will also get a good severance package and then collect unemployment on top of that. Why? Am I bad at what I do? Heck no! It's because they want to bring in an implementation project manager with more experience and a harder edge ("SOB" was the term used) and it isn't in my genetic makeup to be a b*tch. In other words I'm too nice and too cooperative with my customers. If you know the name of a company that still believes in putting customers first, please reply privately to [EMAIL PROTECTED] com with the name of the company. I have until 12/31/08 to find a new job or join the unemployment line with all the others folks getting hit by bad executive decisions.
