Rahul,

Your client has a GXS account that has documents sent to them.
You want to get these documents and send some back but don't
want to have a VAN account yourself. That it in summary right?

Question #1: do you get all or some of these documents?

Quesiton #2: if not all docs can you determine a wild card for the names you
need.

Answer: Connect to the customers VAN as them by using their id and password
and download the files and work like you are them.. that is what you are doing
right? You had a VAN to communicate with and it isn't yours. Just make sure
you have a contract stating you can do this for them like a proxy.

Hi All,

Does any one know how to attain connectivity with GXS without using a VAN.
I'd like to connect to GXS on behalf of my client and import POs (and export
ASNs and Invoices). I can generate the required Identifier for my client - but
how do I connect to GXS and pick-up/deposit the relevant X.12 documents?

Thanks in advance.
Rahul Naik.
