Chittal,
Omnitrans was an EDI translator product available back in late 90s. GXS acquired this product around the year 2000 and renamed it to AI ( Application Integrator ). So AI and Omnitrans are the same product. Of course AI has subsequent releases to the original Omnitrans product.
