I am 100% for immigration BUT there are millions of illegal residents in the USA. The law makes perfect sense to me, and it's just unfortunate the your federal government doesn't have the guts to enforce the laws that are already on the books. Ask the american people in the towns that border Mexico how secure they feel? Ask your Canadian husband to walk across the canadian/us border without ID and see what happens.
