In Tradacom's transactions the "File Generation Number" is sequential, per file
type.
For outbound transactions I know that the GXS software retains this number by
trading partner and increments the number for each STX envelope.
The question is on the Inbound will the GXS software do sequential/duplicate
checking on "File Generation Number" ?
I am being told that it will not out of the box do this sequential/duplicate
check.
I am checking with GXS experts in this group and see if I am getting the best
answer.
Thanks
Stan
