I am running into some issues with the ASN 856, where our random weight inner
packs do not have an item UPC.
So, we have a major client who sends us their orders by the CASE. We return
CASE UPC, but on random weight, there is no ITEM UPC. Our ASN 856 files get
rejected more often than not because this client orders a lot of random weight
items.
Upon discussing with client team, I was told that each store orders by item
UPC, so they expect to get back item UPC.
Very odd, because we don't ship to the "stores", we don't get item level
orders, and we have no real solution for this.
My industry is Foods, both retail and food service.
Has anyone had this same issue, any resolutions?
