I don't understand your question completely. There is a huge range of times... from a few hours to implement a web-based system with a single Trading Partner, or indefinite... for one of those jumbo implementations that never finishes ;-) ..and times in between. If you are asking about the other side, then it can take a day to start sending production EDI documents... or a few weeks (if testing is required)...
