As a pure economic reality it is more likely for any Inovis product that has a GXS "equivalent" to be sunsetted. GXS is the best place to go to find out if they have a product which they believe occupies the same space. They will be happy to tell you how wonderful their product is and how it is much better than what you're using now. If you agree, go for it, if you don't, you'll also have more data for your decision.

We are on older version of TL, with about 60 - 70 trading partners, considering either upgrading to 6.5.1 of TL but in the view of merger we are no sure that GXS will be releasing new versions of TL in the future. So I'm curious what are others are thinking on this and what if any own GXS products are competing with TL? We are also looking at converting and considering the following Sterling Integrator (GIS) Gentran server for windows and Extol. Anyone who dealt with conversion from TL to either to Sterling or Extol could give some insight on this would be appreciated very much. Does Sterling or Extol provide map conversion tools or complete manual remapping should be expected? What a pros and cons of converting to either Sterling or Extol from TL perspective?
