POSITION: Oracle EDI Analyst
Duration of Project: 6 Months
Projected Start Date: asap
Location: Warren NJ
Summary:
Oracle EDI consultant to help in the support of existing implementation and to
participate in on-going development projects for the US and Europe.
Ability to work at all levels from planning to implementation and support.
Good communication skills.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Planning
* Develop EDI project plans with all of its appropriate components
(including
communication with the EDI Trading Partners).
* EDI Development
* Create/ Support the mapping for each of the key Transaction Sets,
e.g.
(but not limited to)
· Purchase Order (850) Inbound and Outbound
· Acknowledgement (855) Inbound and Outbound
* Customize the mapping to accommodate Celgene’s and Trading Partner’s
requirements.
* Experience with X12 (US) formats and exposure to European
requirements.
* Set up and test communications between the e-Commerce tool and the
interface.
* Work with IT infrastructure team to setup/maintain communication
channels
with 3rd Party EDI vendor.
Oracle Development
* Set up the Oracle environment for inbound and outbound transaction
sets (Data
File Structure, Partner Cross-References, Partner Profiles, Code Conversion,
etc.).
* Set up the document types and processing rules.
* Work with users to ensure all customer locations are loaded.
Implementation & Support
* Install and test the finished maps and setups.
* Support users for newly implemented transactions
* Interact with Trading Partners for interface and data issues
* Document and follow up on interface errors with users and IT support
team
