While this group can instruct you on common rules for both X12 and EDIFACT elements, segments and document structure, you really should take up your more specific document/message questions with the TP specs or the TP theirself. The pallet number normally goes in the GIN. Offhand I cannot remember an implementation in which we had to send pallet type, but I would expect it to be in the PCI or its following RFF.
