The quality, comprensiveness and utilty of these documents - called the "implementation guides" - will vary from partnership to partnership and depend totally on the creator. In theory, these docs are created by mutual agreement between trading partners. In Real Life, these docs are most often created by a customer who is telling the vendor upon what they agree.
