As a Senior EDI Analyst, you will use SI 5.x to build and modify business process, map application files and EDI documents, and set up trading partners. You will be responsible for establishing standards and providing governance for current or modified EDI mapping and business workflows. You will help maintain the EDI environment for optimal up-time and provide off-hour support for production issues and system maintenance as needed. You will log and track transactional and system issues for historical research and identify recurring issues for training opportunities and system enhancements. In this role, you will manage archiving, purging, importing, exporting, and data refreshes in testing and production environments, and assist in EDI daily operations as required. You will lead cross-functional teams in small to medium complexity technical projects, reporting progress to the Assistant EDI Manager.
BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Apparel/Footwear industry experience a plus. Minimum five years EDI experience. 3 to 5 years of GIS/SI and 2 to 3 years of SI BPML experience. 3 to 5 years of SI MAP Editor experience or equivalent experience. Experience with sell-side import logistics and supply chain. Technical experience in XML, XML Schema, XSLT, SQL, Dos/Shell Scripts, and DB Script. JAVA and J2EE experience desired, but not required. Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements from internal business units and/or trading partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong coaching and training skills. Customer service oriented. Must be flexible with the ability to multi-task and keep up with changing priorities of the business. Self-motivated, proven ability to work independently on projects.
