Liaison/formerly Softshare put out a new version of EDI Notepad. I know
several on this list have been using it because of its ability to edit X12
and render EDI as HTML (and it's "free" price point is very nice), but there
have been several things that were on the "wish list":
Forward the "rendered" (HTML) version to someone
Run the app at command line for automated processing
Search function that covers all transactions (not just the one that's
"showing")
They also just generally "polished it up" a bit. Some of [my] wish list
items are only available in a "paid for" professional version, but it turns
EDI notepad from a "nice little utility" into a tool I can use for several
different circumstances which may be worth it in some cases - and they still
have the "free version" if what you want is still a "nice little utility."
Anyway, it may be worth giving a look.
