Job description:
To learn the customer’s requirement via customer spec documents and data
production files. To run test files through end to end, capture the file and
compare the file using a file utility to document any differences in file
format or file layout. To communicate with the team over defects, to discuss
file layout/differences to offer solution on minimizing customer impact, if
possible.
Skills Required:
Position: E-BSC2, E-BSC3, EBSC4
Location: Winston-Salem is preferred, Charlotte is also an options.
REQUIRED:
* Experience with UNIX systems
* Experience reading and analyzing industry standard file formats, such as EDI,
XML, iDOC, BAI, and NACHA.
* Experience creating data translation (mapping) documentation.
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to learn via remote / independent methods (online
meeting, phone, independent work).
* Ability to work independently in a changing environment with multiple tasks
on different platforms.
PREFERRED:
* Experience with ACH, Wires, Print and Mail Check, Lockbox and other payment
transactions including both domestic and international.
* Experience interacting directly with customers via phone
* Experience with any of the following systems/software:
* Informatica B2B (Data Exchange)
* IBM webMethods
* VECTOR: Connexion or VECTOR: Advantage
* X12 EDI file format – financial transactions such as 820, 823, 835, 997
