The Implementation Specialist will apply insurance industry knowledge, programming skills and EDI standards to design, develop and implement product solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze customer data and record formats, develop mapping and programming/scripts to convert data to required output format, as well as perform software system installation, customer training, account setup, and other required customer deliverables. The Implementation Specialist will manage multiple projects, providing timely reporting on those projects, perform product demonstrations, provide support to sales staff, and provide recommendations on system enhancements to product development staff. Travel is estimated at 25%.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business and at least 3 years of business experience required. Working knowledge of structured programming concepts, systems development life cycle, and extensive project management skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as training skills, required. Strong problem solving skills, detail orientation, ability to work independently with little supervision, and ability to interact with customers at all levels is required. Proficiency in PC/Windows based software applications required (word processing, email, spreadsheets, Internet navigation, etc.) Working knowledge of EDI concepts, facilities and data formatting standards (ACORD, X12) required.
