Well, I don't have any JDE/Oracle experience, but I have worked with direct DB mapping on 2 other ERPs...

At this point, I would not recommend SQL mapping as it's too unreliable from within a Gentran map unless someone can give me some good advice on controlling the scope of a record or even a table.
