Position Description: The Solution Subject Matter Expert will develop and maintain solution monitoring programs for medium to large complex Distribution Management/Transportation Management solutions.
Requirements: BA/BS degree with emphasis in Logistics, Transportation, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 (two) years Logistics, Supply Change, Inventory, Process Control and/or Transportation experience. Minimum of 3 (three) years IT experience GIS Sterling Integrato Creating detailed mapping documents specifications and detailed test plan based on approved mapping documents. Outline Business process flow in Visio or similar tool. Develop/code Business Processes for GIS. Unit testing of BP/Maps created using detailed test plans. Prepare EDI map and trading partner data for migration to production environment. Specific Job Requirements Specific package skills: Sterling Integrator (Linux environment) version: 5.0 Familiarity with Linux scripting a plus Familiarity with SQL. Experience: 4 years of EDI. Must have 2+ years working with Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) version 4.2 or higher. Job entails creating detailed functional and detail requirement specifications for project implementations. This includes: Scope, mapping, business process, testing and support documents. Must be able to do the following within GIS application: Perform admin duties, (Log review, queue monitoring, start/stop BPs and system) Support activities as the lead for daytime support working with the off shore support organization, one evening on call, and 1 weekend a month. Create quality maps and business processes. Setup of trading partners. Knowledge of how GIS clustering works is a plus. Unit testing of BP/Maps created using detailed test plans. Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding the flow of data in medium to large complexity DM/TM solutions, performing analysis on break points and developing appropriate solution monitoring programs, maintaining and monitoring program outputs, working with functional IT areas to take appropriate corrective action; and Level 3 production support.
