has many divisions. This position will support EDI
for all divisions
except ATC and GENCO Pharmaceutical Services. These

GENCO ATC has an immediate opening
for an EDI Specialist, at our
corporate office located in Blawnox,
PA.
The primary responsibility
of the EDI Specialist is to
provide systems integration and data
interfaces between GENCO ATC
PRODUCT LIFECYCLE LOGISTICS customers and
vendors utilizing EDI
technologies.
The EDI Specialist is responsible for:
Interfacing with EDI customers and third
party EDI Networks
to ensure EDI transmissions are performed
efficiently
Analyzing EDI needs, development, coding,
testing,
debugging, documentation, modification and installation of all
EDI
processes
Monitoring and providing support of all EDI
activities
Monitoring industry trends and making
proposals for major changes to improve EDI services
Monitoring and taking action to meet trading partner EDI Compliance
demands
Developing proposals for process improvements,
programming tools and standards, applications, and programming
languages
Integrating and importing data from outside
data sources, and maintaining/ensuring data integrity throughout the
process
Participating in organizational continuous
improvement opportunities
The successful candidate will
have:
A BA/BS
degree in Computer Science or
related discipline, or equivalent
combination of education and
experience
Three (3) plus
years of related
experience
In-depth knowledge of EDI
concepts
Experience in full-cycle implementation of an
EDI transaction
Knowledge of mapping using
Gentran, EDI
Transaction sets, and Trading Partnership setup a
plus
Overall understanding of various business lines as
it applies to
assigned programming tasks
Knowledge
of AS2 standards
preferred
Knowledge of XML and
Delimited file format
standards preferred
Extremely customer focused with a
strong sense of urgency
Ability to communicate in a
professional manner at all
times with end users, customers, vendors and
teammates, including
senior management
Ability to
interact with diverse
work teams
Proficient with
Microsoft Office
applications
Ability to organize and
prioritize
multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
Ability to
