EDI Systems Analyst (based in San Diego,CA full time w-2 employee)

Summary:
This position will be supporting various transaction sets with our trading 
partners.  As an EDI Analyst you will be responsible for interacting with 
Claims Operations and Patient Financial Services for the purpose of 
streamlining their production through the transition from paper processes to 
EDI.  This includes setting up new trading partners as well as monitoring and 
supporting existing trading partners.  Sharp HealthCare supports the following 
EDI transaction sets:
835/837 – Claims/Remittances
276/277 – Claims Status/Acknowledgment
270/271 – Eligibility Inquiry/Acknowledgement
278 – Referral Status
834 – Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance

Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree in computer science or information systems preferred.  
Relevant experience in excess of three years may be substituted.
A minimum of two (2) years in a systems analyst role required.
A minimum of two (2) years working with EDI transaction sets required; 
preferably with 835 and 837.
GE Centricity Business (aka IDX) experience with knowledge of VM, HPA, BAR 
and/or MCA preferred. 
Two (2) years experience in a health system that included responsibilities in 
conjunction with systems analysis and/or data processing type activities is 
preferred.
