Hi all, good afternoon. I am working on a project for a big computer accessory
manufacturer in Asia PAC.
We deal with lot of distributors and we are trying to improve our process of
gathering the location info from our customers.
We are considering PARTIN/816 EDI message for this process.
I hav couple of questions for the group in this regard:
1. We own Kiosks in some of the distributors where we place demo items
- can we get this information as a part of PARTIN/816 EDI message?
2. We are looking at information like kiosk size, exact location in the
store etc kind of details
3. We are also planning to get the effective dates of the store
location (as per our contract info)
4. Also, some of the distributors are in the franchise type of
business. Meaning
the same location might be used and reported by more than one of our
distributors
5. We are not sure how this scenario plays in our
system * Please share any inputs from your end in this regard. Your
insights will be much appreciated.
