Job Summary
Responsible for implementation and management of EDI transactions with partners 
and stakeholders in a team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and support transaction processes utilizing BPML.
Build and maintain translation maps for X12, XML, database, and flat files.
Assist with managing the Sterling Integrator environment.
Testing maps in development environments utilizing Business Processes.
Collect business rules and requirements to propose effective eCommerce 
solutions.
Effectively prioritize and estimate work effort.
Balance support and deadlines on project assignments.
Create and maintain data and process diagrams.
Document all new deliverables that require ongoing support.
Other Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve data and trading partner issues
Monitor data and process flows for success, timeliness, and accuracy
Collaborate with team members on all work
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Relevant bachelor?s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of IT/EDI development experience.
Experience with GIS / Sterling Integrator for Windows.
Mapping experience with Sterling Integrator Map Editor.
Skilled with XML Schemas.
Sterling Integrator BPML experience required.
Familiarity with Visual Studio/.NET and Team Foundation Server a plus.
Java programming experience a plus.
Proficient in SQL Server 2005 or greater.
Understand various transmission and encryption protocols: FTP, HTTP, SFTP, PGP.
Experience with energy or utility companies is a plus.
