Lewis,
my generic recommendation for any project is if you want to use external resources for a project I would suggest you put together an RFP with buy-in from all parties at your company. You are pretty vague about what you are trying to do with no mention of industry, types of EDI documents and budget to name a few items. Setting tight time lines for trading partner implementations usually leads to disaster, too many uncertainties and too much out of your control. Good luck. I have contacted SPS Commerce and have searched for other similar companies via the internet. I haven't found much and wanted to pose this to the group and see what other options might be available. We have an internal EDI group and translator but are not able to support this quick of a stand up with this volume of customers. The idea is if we could create a standard map and leverage an existing connection then we can support this business need. I understand that there isn't a magic bullet and that there will be development on our side initially but afterwards the setup should be minimal. If you have worked with SPS or other vendors please provide me with your pro/con with each. No sales calls will be entertained via this thread.
