The large ERP vendors learned a long time ago to market to the boardroom not 
the IT department.  Many other companies have learned from their success.

A quick dip stick test to see how potent something like this would be could be 
to see if this announcement had any impact on the SPS Commerce stock price. It 
does not seem to have had any impact at all on their stock price.
 
Edward/ Rob- I think the testing fees issues is not really technical but the 
fact that there is a business value proposition that is being proposed by SPS 
and a few other testing providers that seems to have caught the fancy of 
retailers and I still have not been able to figure out what the magic 
ingredient is that the retailers like so much.
 
So untill some of those myths are broken, it will be an uphill task.
