Michael,

Per usual, I'm with Leah :)

Since 1.4.2 was dropped BEFORE 97A (as in "1997") was issued, there's a chance
this doesn't actually exist, depending on when the MTS version actually changed.

Having just listened to an interesting discussion of copyright and patent law
on NPR the other day, I'm thinking the answer is legally, yes.  Apparently
copyright just happens when you create something, no filing or any other formal
procedure is required.  Morally, I'm on the "no" side, if you're not willing to
sell/give/rent/tade/etc it to me and the CPSC hasn't recalled it, then I should
be able to get it wherever I can and nuts to you, buddy.

Happy Friday.
Leah

An offline discussion with a member has prompted me to ask.a question...
excerpt from that discussion...

Well, can I hold and defend a copyright under these conditions?

Legally?

What about morally?

(Fridays *are* reserved for "deep thoughts", right?)
