I think the 846 would be a good start: http://www.1edisource.com/learn-about-edi/transaction-sets?tset=846&1SRF=GOOGLEADS&1SAC=STANDARDS&1SAG=X12846&1SAV=EDI846TS&GOOKW=%2BEDI%20%2B846&GOOAD=8541309015&GOOPL=&gclid=CMa-55jeya4CFUJN4Aodt3xK-g
Now how you get a distributor to report the % of stock would need to be negotiated between you and your distributor or reseller and determine the content and format of the 846.. Hi all, good evening. Is there an EDI message to capture the % of stock (inventory) at the distributor/reseller. I know that we can calculate the % based on the quantity shipped against their reported inventory – but our business would like to see if the distributor can report the % of stock available at their end, based on their forecast or their optimum levels of inventory. Can you please share your thoughts on this? Thanks and have a good weekend.
