I'm not sure your comparisons are actually valid.

GSW (Gentran Server for Windows) is an application, from Sterling Commerce, now
an IBM company.
GXS is a company.   They have a range of EDI apps on the market, that grew even
bigger after their merger with Inovis.
GIS (Gentran Integration Suite) is an application from Sterling Commerce, now
an IBM company.

For an accurate comparison of GSW vs GIS, you need to look at what version.
IBM lists there are 4 versions.

You can't compare GXS with any application since that is a company vs
application compare.

To answer your question specifically, you probably need to look at B2Bi for an
IBM/SC app since this is the most recent, rebranded version of the former GIS
or newer versions named as Sterling Integrator.   You'd have to be more
specific about what app from GXS you want to review and then contact the
company which should have comparison of their apps versus IBM/Sterling Apps.

Subject: [EDI-L] GSW vs GIS & GIS Vs GXS and GSW Vs GXS

Hi Team
Can some one please explain elaborately what are the differences between the
the following EDI tools: GSW and GIS, & GIS and GXS, & GSW Vs GXS. As we are
currently using GSW(Gentran Server for Windows) version 5.1, what would be the
best possible upgrade to this GSW.

Thanks in advance.
