Nice... :) Oddly enough, we've probably had more RFID hardware in our warehouse
than most folks. We've been donating some of our warehouse space to the UofA
RFID Research Center for many years. They've in turn assisted us with some
Wal-mart tagging projects, but we've never come anywhere close to actually
using it full scale. Candles just weren't high value enough for the tag prices
in the past when WM was really pushing adoption.

Great news! The RFID and speech-to-text modules are now available! Just say,
"Please Mr. RFID reader, retrieve all of the case and pallet tag id's on
those pallets over there and process everything."

The system will even know if you say skids instead of pallets (sorta like
that crispy French-fry thingie).

Happy Friday,

Exactly. This system is battle-tested and ready. Just give me your code
snippet to access your PO file and I'll send you the Web page to do all of
this by the end of the day - including the Bill-of-Lading and Commercial
invoice templates and the descriptions of the EDI output and the inventory
update output.

Don't forget to print up those serialized, scannable butcher tickets for
your pallets!

Cheerios,

Paul

Anyone can create an application which works perfectly when everything goes
right.

The good designer not only copes with what goes wrong, he anticipates those
things.

In Real Life happens!
